July 01, 2008 - Generations Center Launches Updated Website. Generations Center announces the launch of the redesigned website which coincides with the release of the new branding scheme for the Dallas based non-profit organization. Elkore Consulting Services designed and constructed the new website that was launched July 1. The Dallas based service will continue to support the new site which will undergo more changes in the coming months. The new site offers more information about violence in the home and the community as well as opportunities for agencies and individuals to partner with Generations Center. "We are excited about the new look and direction for the Center" said Dr. Donald Smith, President and CEO of Generations Center, "and we are hopeful for the future of this organization." July 01, 2007 - Generations Center receives Department of Justice award for Methamphetamines project. The United States Department of Justice COPS Office awarded Generations Center $272,000.00 to develop and implement a training program about methamphetamines that is specifically for patrol officers. The program is designed to give street cops additional tools in their fight against methamphetamines which continues to plague communities across the country. A multidisciplinary team of professionals has begun work on the development of the program which is set to be completed by early 2009.
